How is Helios Compass different from ordinary travel guides?
Ordinary guides offer general recommendations, while Helios Compass builds a route around your interests. We are not a travel agency — our role is to help you know the city more deeply, understand its cultural context, and find places that match your idea of an ideal journey.
How is a personal itinerary created?
You fill in a questionnaire about your interests, preferences, plans, and expectations for the trip. From your answers, the Helios Compass team selects places, reviews what is available, and weaves recommendations into a considered itinerary made for you.
Can I choose any city in the world?
Yes — you can suggest any city you want to explore. We research available information about the destination and prepare a personal itinerary around your interests and the character of the place.
What is included in the personal itinerary?
The guide includes places matched to your interests, cultural sights, leisure recommendations, and practical notes for planning the trip. Depending on the destination, it may also include maps, links, location descriptions, and suggestions for organising the route.
How long does preparation take?
A personal guide usually takes 1 to 3 days after we receive the needed details and order confirmation. We pay close attention to your answers so the itinerary is substantive, convenient, and aligned with your expectations.
Can you account for my interests and budget?
Of course. You can name the themes that matter to you — from art, architecture, and history to food, active days, and evening life. We also consider your budget, trip length, and other wishes when selecting recommendations.
Do I need to book tickets and visits myself?
Yes. Helios Compass provides personal recommendations and helps you plan the journey, but it is not a travel agency and does not book tickets, hotels, or events on your behalf. When an official booking page is available, we can include the link in your guide so you can arrange the visit yourself.
Do I need to be a Helios member to order an itinerary?
No — Helios Compass is open to everyone. Members of the Helios intellectual club receive special bonuses and privileges that make travel even more personal.
How much does a personal itinerary cost?
The price depends on the guide format and order terms. You can see the current price on the checkout page before payment.
In what format will I receive my personal guide?
You receive a private web page with your itinerary, recommendations, maps, and useful links. You can view the guide online on any device or download it to keep and use while travelling.
